There are three titles crowned on stage on pageant night: Miss, Ms. and Mrs. USA Continental. There is a National Ambassador title, which goes to the contestant across the three divisions that has the highest score, but did not win a USA Continental title. We also crown a People's Choice queen at our Coronation Ball. She is invited back to compete again and make appearances as our People's Choice queen.
Those with appointed titles hold their titles for 30 days after the pageant. They have first right of refusal to retain their titles for another year at a reduced entry fee.

Appointed titles are awarded in states or regions where we do not currently have a state preliminary pageant. Appointed state or regional titles are awarded on a first come, first served basis. You may apply for an appointed title in any state or region as long as you either live or own property in the state for which you want to be appointed. Those with appointed state or regional titles are invited to compete at our national pageant.
Those with appointed titles are responsible for their own transportation to/from and lodging at the national pageant.

No. You do not need to live in that state. However, you must work, attend school, or own property there. We would prefer that you choose a state in the region in which you live because appearances are required. Regional titles are a good choice if you choose to not represent the state of your residence.

We have three core areas of competition plus on-stage question:
- Personal Interview: You will have the opportunity to speak with each judge, one-on-one, for five minutes. You will be judged on how well you communicate and how well you are able to articulate your platform.
- Fitness: You will be judged on your physical fitness and how confidently you carry yourself on stage. You will wear a fitness wear outfit of your choice. No swimsuits.
- Evening Gown: You will be judged on your grace and how confidently you carry yourself on stage. You will wear an evening gown of your choosing. It must be full-length.
- On-Stage Question: For finalists only, you will be asked a question that you pull from a bowl. On-Stage Question is worth 5 additional points on top of your previous scores.
- Final Look: For finalists only; worth 5 additional points on top of your previous scores.
